Cruz Castillo 

Dax Moreno 

Cruz has 24 years of hands- on in- depth experience, starting his career in construction in 2000. With this vast knowledge of work in the field, leading and managing comes with ease. From estimating multiple projects and coordinating with Owners, Project Managers, Subcontractors, Engineers, and Architects from start to finish. This includes negotiating contracts, purchase orders, submittals, tracks progress and costs while staying on budget. Identifies key milestones by reviewing and assessing the quality of work by working with crew leaders to set production goals and organizing daily tasks. Cruz oversees final project inspections and close- outs attributing labor cost accurately and in a timely manner. Cruz establishes strong, effective relationships with clients and business professionals along with the local community. He also takes care of the marketing and public relationships and is active in the Walla Walla Foundation. 

Dax began his career in the construction industry in 1998. In 2003, he and a partner started Moreno & Nelson Construction in which he utilized his prior experience to take on projects that consisted of but not limited to heavy structural concrete such as sub stations, bridges, wind energy,  (windmill foundations), loading docks, apartment complex foundations and sitework, city and state public works projects and decorative concrete as well as various residential custom home foundations, driveways and patios.
